- Continue adding layers of petals in concentric circles toward the center
- Each inner layer should be slightly higher than the previous one
- Finishing:
- Gently press the center to join all the petals
- Adjust the petals to create a dimensional and voluminous effect
General Tips:
- Cleaning: Always wash your hands when changing colors to avoid unwanted mixing
- Storage: While working, keep the clay that’s not in use wrapped in plastic or in its packaging to prevent it from drying out
- Assembly: To create a flower panel as shown in the first image:
- Create a thin flat base of the same material
- Arrange the flowers in a pleasing pattern
- Gently press each flower onto the base to secure it
- You can add small details like leaves or buds to complete the arrangement
- Baking:
- After creating all the flowers, bake according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 30 minutes at 110°C/230°F)
- Allow to cool completely before handling
- Optional: apply a layer of transparent varnish for a glossy finish
- Color mixing:
- To create more variety, you can mix the colors you have available
- For example, mix Indian Red with Tangerine to create varieties of orange
- Or mix Lemon with Tangerine for yellowish tones
