Description
Set of 2 Cernit Blades 1 Rigid, straight and 1 wavy
Blades are basic accessories for anyone looking to start working with polymer clay.
Stainless steel blades are very thin and sharp. They will precisely cut your polymer clay. To get clean pieces and cut the polymer clay canes without crushing the drawing, you will be delighted with these blades.
As they are very sharp, their use is simple and fast. The edges are perfectly shaped. For the same reason, they should be used with care and/or under adult supervision for younger users.
Depending on the technique, you will prefer to use rigid or flexible blades.
To cut a polymer clay cane into slices, use a stiff blade. However, to cut excess clay from a silicone mold or texture plate for the Sutton Slice technique, a flexible blade should be used. In this way, you can adjust the angle of the blade so as not to damage the mold. The blades are also perfectly suitable for other techniques such as Millefiori, Kaleidoscope, Mokume Gane, etc. The wavy blade is used for various techniques, to create lace or croquet ribbon effects.
2 blades: one rigid, one wavy
A protective rubber is provided to ease the use and, above all, to avoid minor cuts.
